Riggins is a short 30 miles north of the property, also offering all kinds of rafting, fishing, and hunting. Dive into lakeside fun at Ponderosa State Park, which offers outdoor adventures year-round! Fishing, biking, swimming, kayaking and hiking are all summer favorites around shimmering Payette lake! In the winter, you’ll find people snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and ice-fishing in this enchanting winter wonderland. When spring and summer roll around, be sure to go turkey hunting, seek out morel mushrooms and go huckleberry picking! Brundage Mountain is right outside of Mccall and boasts some of the best backcountry skiing in the country. Just past McCall - 15 miles to be exact - is Tamarack Ski Resort.
