Escape to our serene and spacious log cabin on 5 private wooded acres near La Porte and Indiana Dunes. This two-story retreat blends rustic charm with modern amenities. Unwind in the cozy living area, cook in the fully equipped kitchen, or work from the lofted office space. The cabin features three bedrooms with flexible sleeping options. Enjoy the forested grounds, fire pit, open field, and orchard next door. Just 25 minutes from Indiana Dunes and Lake Michigan, it's a perfect peaceful getaway.

Our guests tell us they love the serene escape to a quiet natural setting that the cabin provides. Indiana Dunes National Park (<30 min away) is a favorite nearby attraction for hiking and beach front fun. Being across the street from Garwood Orchards lets guests walk to a cozy country grocery store, enjoy fruit and vegetable U-Pick through summer and fall, and enjoy fall harvest activities. Being a short drive (<10 min) from the city of LaPorte means convenient shopping and restaurants, along with lake fun, beaches, and watersports on Pine Lake. Michigan City (20 minute drive) provides Lake Michigan beaches (Washington Park Beach), Lighthouse Place Premium Outlets, Blue Chip Casino, and plenty more restaurants. Red Mill County Park is just a few minute drive and is great for walks, exercise, and bird/nature watching.
