Hi, I’m Feras and the owner and operator of Belgrade Hospitality. Around 35 years ago I started my venture in being a small business owner within retail convenience stores in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and finally, Central Maine. During that time I learned a lot about business, customers and who I wanted to be to my customers. My heart has always been in hospitality and customer experience. I’ve always strived to offer the absolute best experience to all customers in every business I’ve owned and operated. It was my passion to ensure each and every person who came to my establishments, always wanted to come back. It was my goal to make sure each and every person was greeted with a smile that could change their day. I wanted to be remembered not for just what was offered in my business, such as goods and sales, but for the experience that made my business stand out from others. When I moved to Belgrade in 2009, a new wave crashed over me. I came from an upbringing in a third world country and moving to Belgrade really opened my eyes to experiences I had never been able to dream of. Living on the lake was such a luxury. Not only for the mere fact that you are living waterfront life, but because it comes with all new memories to create and fun and excitement to be had. My family was almost grown when we moved to Belgrade but our memories felt like they were just beginning. Now I get to share these memories and experiences with my grandchildren and their friends. It wasn't until after moving to Belgrade, Maine and experiencing the best memories while being surrounded by the lakefront and nature, that I decided that I wanted to share these experiences and memories with others to have with their families, friends and loved ones. I built Belgrade Hospitality alongside my amazing family that were an integral part in this creation. This project was a long time dream of mine to be able to share my experiences with others. The Belgrade Lakes are in the heart of the Kennebec Valley Region, which includes a chain of seven lakes and ponds. Messalonskee Lake covers 3,510 acres with a depth of 113 feet. Best known for largemouth bass, northern pike, and landlocked salmon. In the Belgrade Lakes Region, visitors enjoy the beauty of Maine, charming downtown Belgrade, award-winning dining, shopping, and fishing for landlocked salmon, Brook Trout, Northern Pike, and Large and Smallmouth Bass. Additionally, ice fishing is allowed in the ponds in the Belgrade Lakes. Each lake has special regulations. Be sure to consult the Open Water & Ice Fishing Laws & Rules for specifics. The Belgrade Lakes are located just a few miles from Interstate 95 in the Augusta and the Waterville area.
