This house is our pied-a-terre, a vacation home for ourselves when we visit Northen California. Hence, we decorated to be pleasing and functional so that we would feel comfortable and be at our own home. We enjoy spacious surroundings and love to drink coffee and eat our meals in our breakfast nook. The Rockridge neighborhood is fantastic, with many coffee shops, restaurants, and supermarkets. It is convenient to UC Berkeley (10 min by bus), San Francisco (by BART, 20 min), or to Bay Area via Highway 24. It's a great house in a perfect location.
We love traveling. So we know how guests expect when they come in to a private house. We try to make the experience hassle free by providing everything they need to be comfortable so that they can enjoy their stay.
Rockridge is one of the trendiest neighborhoods in Bay Area. People come for restaurants, coffee shops, grocery, or simply to enjoy the atmosphere. It is close to UC Berkeley, convenient to public transportation as well as highways. One feels invigorated by the energy of this small gem in Oakland/Berkeley.
