The Bartlett Village House is located in the village of Bartlett, New Hampshire, nestled in the heart of the 790,000-acre White Mountain National Forest and in close proximity to nearby North Conway, Jackson and the Crawford Notch. Year-round family fun is right outside our doors...
Built in 1890, this house began as a private residence but by 1918 was operated as an Inn/Restaurant by Gertrude Thompson whose husband worked as a foreman on the railroad. In 1945 it was purchased by Sanford Hill who renamed it the Chippanock Inn (bright north star). He continued to operate it until his death in the early 1990'S. Today the home is known as The Bartlett Village House and is rented to private groups. The Bartlett Village House is centrally located and in proximity to everything you have come to enjoy! We are just 1.8 miles to Attitash, 7 minutes to Crawford Notch, and 12 minutes to North Conway! We are in walking distance to the Saco River (behind our house), Hiking Trails, Snowmobiling & Restaurants and a short drive to Cross Country Skiing, Waterfalls, Shopping, Skiing and so much more!
