The Dailey Renewal Retreat is a historic Queen Anne Victorian home featured in several Greensboro, NC history books. It was built in 1914 by Albert Eugene Fordham. The Fordham family was a prominent family in Greensboro in the 1900's. Albert Eugene owned a shoe manufacturing company his cousin owned a pharmacy. The house has a wrap around porch overlooking a 1/2 acre of land with a peonies, azaleas, dogwoods, roses and figs. The property has a feeling of privacy even though it's convenient to Greensboro.
I've been in business for myself 25 years, I started the B & B in 2010 after teaching Organic cooking ten years. I studied cooking with Christina Pirello at Drexel University, Philadelphia, PA. Christina is the author of 4 cookbooks and hosts the PBS Emmy award winning TV show, Christina cooks. My business was sponsored by Deep Roots Co-op and EarthFare Market.
Lindley Park, the neighborhood The Dailey Renewal Retreat B & B is located in is a quiet, safe residential neighborhood central to Greensboro. There are more than 6 great local restaurants, several coffee shops, a local bakery and grocery within walking distance of the B & B.
