Warm and inviting guest suite in an 1800's post-and-beam cottage situated on a 15 acre organic flower and vegetable farm. Both accommodations in the guest house offer amazing views and access to the garden filled property. One of the rooms features a light-filled greenhouse roofed bath, cozy decor, a private sitting porch and total privacy, all surrounded by extensive flower and veg gardens. There is also a beautiful patio area with a stone fireplace shared by both guest rooms situated in the gardens, guests are invited to enjoy meandering through the gardens. Enjoy the serenity just 12 minutes from the towns of Middlebury, Shoreham, Brandon and 15 minutes from the shores of Lake Champlain, Lake Dunmore, and Lake Bomoseen .
I enjoy hosting guests because I've created this space to be shared. I'm an avid cook, gardener and enjoy home design and renovation and am interested in my guests having a "home away from home" experience, All seems to tie in well with hosting.
This is a rural agricultural community. Rolling fields and forests and farms surround us and help to add to the ambiance of the space. We are also a short drive from Middlebury with all of it's shops and restaurants and quintessentially New England vibe, this is a nature and garden lover's paradise.
