The Cabins at Lexington is the perfect all-season destination. Located on a private, wooded hillside in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley, the Cabins are only minutes from historic downtown Lexington, Washington & Lee University, Virginia Military Institute, the Virginia Horse Center, wedding venues and other popular attractions. Our cabins are professionally cleaned per visit. Although pet friendly, pet fees applies. Pets must be registered and paid separately prior to arrival.
Welcome! We look forward to hosting you. I'm a native of Rockbridge County and have been in the short term and vacation rentals / property management business for about a decade. Although new to this platform, several other properties have been online and have exceptional reviews. We pride ourselves on customer service, excellence and above all aim for all guests to have an absolute memorable time during their visit. Just minutes from downtown Lexington everything is GPS friendly. Convenient to all surrounding attractions including restaurants, bars, wineries, wedding venue, Washington and Lee University, and VMI. A little history relating to the Lewis Cabin: Meriwether Lewis graduated from Washington and Lee University (Liberty Hall) in 1793. He joined the Virginia Militia and was commissioned an officer in the U.S. Army in 1795. He rose to the rank of Captain and ended his service in 1801. In 1803, Meriwether Lewis and William Clark were chosen by President Thomas Jefferson to lead the Corps of Discovery and the exploration of the Louisiana Territory. He died while traveling on The Natchez Trace from an apparent suicide in 1809.
