With a bonus game room featuring a convertible sofa bed, our home accommodates your every need. Step into a sprawling abode perfect for gatherings, a cozy fireplace for cool evenings, and a hammock beneath vibrant trees for serene relaxation. Your home away from home awaits! Please note that there is limited cellphone service in this location. Verizon has a good coverage compared to other networks. Plan ahead and CACHE YOUR MAPS BEFROE LEAVING for The Mountain House. Write down the WIFI NAME & PASSWORD as well. Please park your car(s) in the driveway. There is also two extra spots to the right of the drive way. Feel free to make yourself at home and enjoy. Once at the house and connected to WIFI, most cellphones should connect by setting calls to WiFi Calling. Once you have accessed the Home, kindly go through the welcome kit for the DOs and DONTs! and other useful information to make your stay comfortable.

The Mountain House BNB is a spacious 1,645 sq/ft home, nested in the Ponderosa Basin, an ideal base camp to explore the vivacious Yosemite National Park. Just 17 miles from the main Oakhrust city and 15 miles from Mariposa city, this location is very near to the main attractions of Yosemite including the Giant Sequoias, Chilnualna Falls, Half Dome etc., making the Mountain House as your ideal family vacation, year round getaway or "workstation" destination. Nearby Attractions: ~ 17 mins to California State Mining & Mineral Museum ~ 20 mins to Oakhrust and Mariposa Downtown ~ 30 mins to Bass Lake (Fishing activity) ~ 30 mins to Merced River Rafting ~ 45 mins to South Entrance, Yosemite ~ 50 mins to Yosemite Grizzly Giants ~ 1.25 hrs to Badger Ski Area ~ 1.5 Hr to Horsetail Falls
