Company information

We are Greg and Kjersten and have dreamed of owning and operating a B&B for years. We we discovered this amazing property in St Johns we knew we had found the perfect place to make our dream a reality. We live on-site with 2 of our 3 children, Garret and Gracie, as well as 2 cats and 1 crazy little dog. We love sharing this amazing home with all those who visit the area and can't wait to share it with you as well.

Property information

The Nordic Pineapple was built in 1861 by a decorated Civil War General and in the early 1900s was added onto by a self-made man. In 1992 there was a massive fire here which nearly destroyed the property but a local historian with big vision restored the property with the plan for her to become a bed and breakfast. We have 5 amazing guest suites all with private, attached bathrooms and amazing jetted tubs; each also has a separate walk-in shower. During your stay we want you to feel like you are part of our family and encourage you to come to breakfast in your pjs, put your feet up and relax. Our massive wrap around porch is the perfect place for an early morning coffee, an afternoon glass of lemonade or a glass of wine in the evening. We serve you a hot, plated breakfast each morning in our wonderful dining room. Come spend a little time with us and you will not be disappointed.

Neighbourhood information

St Johns is only 25 minutes North of Lansing and Michigan State University. There are quaint little shops awaiting you in our historic downtown and lots of wonderful restaurant choices in the area. In the summer there are concerts in the park and great local festivals. We offer our guest bikes to go exploring or ride a section of the rail trail. In the fall enjoy Uncle John's Cider Mill with it's fresh donuts and cider. In the winter you can cozy up to a warm fire with a great book and relax the day away or go exploring all that Lansing has to offer.
