Company information

Running a B&B was something we talked about doing over the years and started looking during the pandemic at semi-retirement options when we came across the Nutmeg Inn. We immediately fell in love with the property and history of the Inn which started in 1763 before the US was founded. Fortunately the former Owners/Innkeepers had done a tremendous job bringing the Inn back to life in 2013 after it had been a private home for a number of years. We have enjoyed meeting so many people from around the world and the rewarding experience of Hosting so many wonderful Guests. We take great pride in the experience and are always thrilled when a Guest leaves a positive review online.

Property information

Located near beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee, the historic Nutmeg Inn building dates back to 1763. Every room is complete with its own bathroom, sitting area, air conditioning, free WiFi and some rooms have working fireplaces. Enjoy a roaring fire in our Great Room, old movies in our West Parlor, and a game of billiards on our antique pool table in our Billiard Room. You will love the inn’s eighteenth century charm! We pride ourselves on our hearty country breakfasts and warm hospitality. There are about 1500 square feet of common area inside the inn for our guests to enjoy. In addition to the dining room we have a parlor perfect for reading or watching TV, a billiard room with an antique pool table, and a large great room with plenty of seating near a huge fireplace. Outdoors we have an in ground saltwater pool with a large deck with excellent sun exposure. We also have a large fire pit near the pool area perfect for roasting hot dogs and making s’more
