Welcome to The Woodridge Retreat! 🌿
A spacious, pet-free family home nestled on over an acre of wooded land in a peaceful, friendly community on Woodridge Lake.
My home is available year-round, with a two-night minimum stay from October through May, and a two-week minimum stay from June 1st to September 30th.
It features an inviting, open floor plan that’s both elegant and cozy. It sleeps up to eight, with a main-floor master bedroom and en suite bath, two additional bedrooms upstairs, and a loft/common area with a comfy queen sofa bed if needed.
The screened porch and adjoining deck are perfect for relaxing or dining during the warmer months. Autumn offers brilliant foliage and nearby covered bridges—plus a fire pit to enjoy crisp evenings. In winter, curl up by the wood-burning fireplace, and take advantage of nearby skiing at Mohawk Mountain!
⛱️ Lake & Amenities:
For stays of two weeks or more (June 1–Sept 30), guests may access Woodridge Lake’s many amenities—just a 10-minute walk or quick bike ride away. Temporary members must register with the WLPOA office and pay associated fees.

I'm a NYC elementary school teacher with deep roots in the beautiful hills of northwest Connecticut, where I was lucky enough to grow up surrounded by nature. In 2016, I returned to my hometown area and bought a house in the peaceful and picturesque community of Woodridge Lake in Goshen.
This space is more than just a home—it’s a retreat. Nestled in a quiet, friendly neighborhood, it offers access to the lake, scenic walking trails, and all the natural beauty this region is known for. Whether you're seeking rest, inspiration, connection, or adventure, there's something here for everyone.
I’ve done my best to create a warm and welcoming space—one that guests often say feels like a home away from home. You’ll find cozy furnishings and thoughtful local recommendations to help you settle in and enjoy your stay.
Come relax, explore, and make yourself at home. I hope this special place brings you the same peace and joy it brings me. 🌿
Woodridge Lake is a vibrant and welcoming community, filled with warm, friendly people and a rich year-round social calendar (available to renters staying two weeks or more).
Guests are welcome throughout the year, with only a two-night minimum stay required, outside the summer season.
In summer, you might catch a Cardboard Box Boat Race during the day, followed by a Hawaiian Luau Party at night. In winter, enjoy skating or ice fishing on the lake. There may be art workshops like printmaking, drawing, or stained glass for adults—and fossil casting for children. The clubhouse often hosts concerts, Trivia Nights, and even the beloved Ugly Sweater Party!
Goshen, located in Litchfield County, lies in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains—an area world-renowned for its natural beauty. A car is recommended to explore scenic drives, charming towns, and surrounding countryside. The Village Market & Gas is nearby for essentials, while Torrington (less than 10 miles away) offers larger stores like Stop & Shop, Target, and CVS. The nearby towns of Litchfield and Bantam are also wonderful for boutique shopping and local charm.
The wider region offers outstanding restaurants, live theatre, ballet, music venues, antique shops, and indie movie houses. Outdoor lovers will find plenty to enjoy—skiing, golfing, river rafting, kayaking, horseback riding, hiking, birding, and picturesque covered bridges are all just a short drive away.
