ABOUT THE CABIN: Enjoy incredible views of Discovery Bay from every room, a hot tub and sauna overlooking the bay, private beach access with kayaks (May-Sept), game room, karaoke, fire pit and more at our wooded oceanfront oasis. . . Welcome to the Discovery Bay Lookout! Our spacious 1800 SF cabin boasts two comfortable bedrooms, a cozy sleeping nook with bunk beds, two bathrooms, large living and dining rooms, a full kitchen, and a game room - all thoughtfully designed to offer you a comfortable and relaxing stay. Every room in the cabin offers breathtaking views of the bay, mountains, and sunsets, ensuring you'll never miss a moment of the stunning scenery. Outside, you'll find a luxurious jetted hot tub, propane fire pit (May - Thanksgiving) and cedar barrel sauna overlooking the bay!
As a guest at Discovery Bay Lookout, you'll enjoy the privacy of having the entire property to yourself, including your own private pebble beach, accessible via private trail through an old-growth ravine. And from May to September, we offer kayaks for your use, so you can explore the beauty of the bay and its surroundings, including frequent sightings of eagle, heron, river otter, and even the occasional whale. Please note that each guest must sign a waiver before using our kayaks. We have three kayaks available: Two Pelican Argo 100x sit-inside kayaks and one Pelican Rustler 130T tandem sit-on-top kayak. A few things to note: 1) You will have full use of the cabin, except for the garage. 2) There is a small guest cottage on the property that the hosts use personally, but it will be unoccupied during your stay to ensure your privacy. 3) Beach access is limited during high tide, especially in winter months. Please check tide schedules. 4) Cabin accommodates a maximum of 5 adults. Top bunk is not intended for adult use.

ABOUT THE PROPERTY AND SURROUNDING AREA:
Situated on a beautiful wooded acre, the cabin is surrounded by a private beach path that winds through an old-growth ravine. At low tide, enjoy long beach walks and wildlife sightings. While there is one neighboring home and several private gravel driveways in the immediate vicinity, the cabin is set back from the highway, providing a private and serene atmosphere. Additionally, you will be able to use the newly built beach trail and enjoy the private pebble beach. About Port Townsend: Located on the northeast corner of the Olympic Peninsula, Port Townsend is steeped in maritime history and Victorian era appeal—one of only three Victorian seaports on the National Register of Historic Places. Dubbed the ”Paris of the Pacific Northwest” by Sunset Magazine, Port Townsend has garnered a national reputation as one of the coolest small towns in America. A year-round slate of festivals and events offer something for every interest, from film and music, to wooden boats and kinetic sculpture races.
