Welcome to us, My's Homestay is a destination for your accommodation and a place for your upcoming travel when you have experience at My's Homestay. A lot of customs of different ethnic groups in Sapa and you will be introduced to the walking tour in the sleeping villages at the local people's houses
Welcome to us. I'm Thung (Tom) I'm from Sapa I'm a black H'mong ethnic, my house is made of wood and made the house by myself. It took me 3 years to finish my house. And I love sharing culture with foreign guests as well as walking tours through the valley. villages around Sapa. And don't worry too much when you come to our family, you and we will as a family talk together and share about our cultures and customs at My's Homestay.
you can go to the village, ta van, giang ta chai, waterfall, ban ho, nam cang, In Muong Hoa village, every scene is very simple but has a peaceful beauty. In addition to growing rice, the people in Muong Hoa village are also very good at weaving brocade. After walking to the end of the village, I suddenly realized that every house has a frame for weaving. You know, the brocade dresses of the H’Mong people are not just an outfit, but also a work of art, where the farmer is an artist. The fabric for the dress is woven from flax - a sacred plant in the Mongolian concept. Flax is planted in the field from spring (February lunar month), after about 70 - 90 days can be harvested. After harvesting, the flax tree will be brought home to dry for 10 days in the sun and 4 nights of frost so that the bark is firm, soft and tough. After drying, the H'mong people start stripping the fibers, the flax fiber is then brought into a mortar, spun into yarn, incubated with kitchen ash water until the flax fiber is smooth and soft, then rolled into the tubes Use a loom to make a fabric.
