1-on-Ross is an environmentally friendly guest house, consisting of 4 cottages nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac just off Henry Road. It has a large, treed garden. There is a pool, outdoor seating areas and braai facilities on request. Adequate off-street parking is provided behind an automatic gate. Filtered borehole water is used and all units have rechargeable lights. Both lights and water are available, even during loadshedding. As water is supplied using a large pressure tank and pump, guests are requested to shower before or after loadshedding. Toilets and basins are available at all times. If the pressure does drop prematurely, the pump is restarted with the generator. DSTV is available in all units when there is electricity. Each unit is equipped with a basic allocation of a refrigerator, microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery and cutlery. Further details are provided below. Fibre Wi-Fi is uninterrupted, even during loadshedding. Guests are welcome to use the swimming pool and braai facilities at their own risk. All units are serviced daily. Secure off-street parking with remote access is provided. 1 on Ross is conveniently situated close to the town centre, private schools (Kingswood College, St Andrew’s College and DSG), Graeme College and Rhodes University, courts and medical facilities. 1 on Ross is newly renovated to bring upmarket yet also comfortable and relaxed accommodation, with a home away from home feel, for guests. We are set up to cater for guests wanting to spend some special time with their children outside of their school/university environment. The units are self-catering but also offer breakfast as an option. Mike lives on the property and runs the B&B and welcome guests ensuring your every need is met. Our aim is to ensure you have a carefree, memorable stay.

1 on Ross is situated in Oatlands in Grahamstown. It has been described as a beautiful oasis in a quiet cul-de-sac. There is little to no traffic noise. Close to the centre of town, SAC, Grey and Kingswood and about 1.5km from Rhodes.
