Perfect location to unplug from the busy and tap into slowness. Chris was a gracious host and offered his assistance if we ever needed it, we did not, as everything was perfect.

What an excellent idea to book this magical place for one night. Chris the owner, was in Heidelberg by chance, met us and drove ahed of us to the villa. He gave us a great tour around the large property, which was a good idea, because the...

Everything was absolutely perfect! Highly recommend if you are looking to get away and enjoy some piece in nature. We stayed for 4 nights and that still was not enough to enjoy everything the place had to offer.

Secluded villa in a most serene, scenic setting. Regardless of the size of your group, you get the whole place so quiet, peace and privacy is guaranteed. Usually self-catering but meals can be provided at a day's notice. Off the grid, surrounded by raw nature, rich in birdlife, fauna & flora. Your host Chris lives nearby and is on call 24/7. Pets that would get along with our free roaming horses and other dogs are welcome (except on the furniture : ) We are installing a wood-fired hot tub which will be up & running by the last weekend in July...
Taking care of people and sharing interests in the history and natural environment of our district is my pleasure. Music is my passion (esp. fingerstyle guitar) - playing, teaching or 'jamming' together is the best part of my day. Helping people to disconnect from digital and reconnect with nature, each other and inner spirit is most rewarding. Always looking for reasons to say 'yes'... Here to host your escape to Eden.
Set in a crucial biodiversity hotspot of the Cape floral kingdom, the area offers much to discover. Within 30 minutes by car, you can be on the beach at Witsand, walk or mountain-bike in indigenous forest at Grootvadersbosch (where 196 bird species are listed), or cross into the Klein Karoo at Gysmanshoek, via the oldest wagon trail in the region. Artists and photographers revel in the rich fauna & flora, breathtaking panoramic views and cloudscapes. Being able to sleep under the stars, leaving the house unlocked & leaving your car keys in the ignition may take some getting used to...
