For your Larger-than-Life country retreat in the Southern Drakensberg, look no further than the Belfast Guest House. Belfast Guest House is self-catering luxury LARGER than life !! Be it for that much needed break on your trip to the Wild Coast, Kokstad, Eastern Cape or Umtata, (and on your way back of course!), it is ideally situated just off the R617. Or, be it for that perfect base from which to discover the Southern Drakensberg World Heritage sites including the famous Sani Pass. The minute you arrive you will be tempted to enjoy a stretch of the legs, a stroll or even a jog in the fresh air and the scenic countryside, and then it will be time to relax in the warmth of the fireplaces in winter, or to set fire to the barbeque and watch the sun set in the summer. On the property, within walking distance from the house, there is pristine river and 2 stocked dams suitable for fly-fishing (T&Cs apply). For the outdoor enthusiast - bring your hiking shoes, mountain-bike/bicycle, kayak, binoculars (and passport if you want to take a trip up Sani Pass). The beauty of this magnificent house is its sheer orientation!
