Company information

We are local to the area and love the place. Here you can truly relax with long beach and nature walks, swimming or water sports. The little harbour beach is perfect for young children. We love to get fresh fish when the boats come in and enjoy it with a family barbeque.

Property information

This comfortable, spacious and modern self-catering guesthouse is close to the beach, restaurants and local attractions. The four bedrooms are large and have lovely views. The queen size beds are made with quality linen and towels are provided. Each suite is rented with its own private bathroom The open plan kitchen comes fully equipped with a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, cutlery & crockery and basic spices and can be used by all guests. The living and dining room open with stack doors to the grassed back garden with a barbeque area under the trees. Enjoy a movie or an episode of your favourite series from Netflix on the flat screen TV in the living room. Note: Unless you booked the entire house you will share the living area and kitchen with other guests. Free WiFi is available throughout the house.

Neighbourhood information

The rocky headland of Cape Agulhas is the place where two great oceans – the Indian and Atlantic – meet. Snap a photo at the official southernmost tip of Africa, where there is a stone plaque that marks the place – right on the beach. The Struisbaai sandy beach nearby is one of the longest in the country, curving away into the distance...perfect for walking, swimming, sun bathing and summer sports. The adventurous can go horse riding, or kite surf; paraglide from Agulhas mountain; or catch a charter company to take you deep sea fishing. For the fishermen amongst you this is paradise – fish from the rocks, the beach or the jetty. Get fresh fish at the harbour when the boats come in around 17h00 if you are not keen on catching your own. Take a hike in the national park or along the seaside boardwalk from the lighthouse. Find the shipwreck not far from there. Stay another day or two to explore the surrounding area: Explore Elim and eat at Black Oyster Catcher; Visit Die Mond or the white dunes at De Hoop; Explore the cave in Arniston;
