The Butterfly Villa is a lovely family house in Pringle Bay, Overberg. This house boasts breathtaking views of the calm blue sea with beautiful blue-grey mountains in the background. The Butterfly Villa is 90% off the grid with solar power and features 2 separate units. The Glass Suite can accommodate 2-4 guests and the Dreamview Lodge 6-8 guests, making it ideal for a family or group of friends. Both units can also be booked together. Shared amenities include a Jacuzzi and a large outdoor braai fire pit, Wi-Fi and off-street parking with secure gated entry and ample space for up to 6 vehicles. Smoke and security alarm systems are installed. All the necessities for a comfortable self-catering stay is provided. The Butterfly Villa is a 5-10 minute walk from the pristine beach, shops, and restaurants in Pringle Bay. Activities and attractions in the area include hiking, sand boarding, kayaking, biking, Blue Flag beaches, surfing, boogie boarding, stand-up paddle-boarding (SUP), swimming and larger shopping centers in nearby Somerset West or Hermanus. Pringle Bay is situated in the UNESCO Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve, and guests can enjoy the sights and sounds of local wildlife from the kitchen, dining room, the patio or go for a short drive to Stony Point Penguin Colony and the Harold Porter National Botanical Garden in Betty's Bay. Pringle Bay is a fantastic spot for whale watching from July to October. Cape Town International Airport is 68.8km from Pringle Bay. Shuttle services and car rentals are available locally and at the airport.
It is called Dreamview Rental because the Butterfly Villa offers just that: a Dream View. Pringle Bay is a beautiful seaside village located only 80kms from Cape Town. The villa is situated on the slope of a small mountain 125 meters tall with breathtaking views of False bay and Table Mountain. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a Natural Wonder of this World. There is a river that flows into the ocean, which is nice and warm to swim in. The second largest African Penguin breeding colony at Stony Point, as well as a Botanical Garden and sand boarding fun for the young ones are located in nearby Betty's Bay. If you are the outdoors kind of person who loves nature, this place is for you. The only negative about this region is ... you may not want to leave!
A nature reserve with amazing views of the sea, beach, mountains and Fynbos with 1700 different species of plants and flowers that are unique to this part of the world and holds the world record for the most species of different plants in a particular region of the world! There is an African Penguin breeding colony, botanical gardens, surfing, kayaking, local shops and amazing restaurants in the area! Things to do in the area: Hiking Trails, with breath taking views of False Bay Harold Porter Botanical Gardens with waterfalls and restaurant on site Stony Point African Penguin Colony in Betty's Bay Sand boarding (boards available for hire) Kayaking (kayaks available for hire) Great restaurants, shops, and markets within walking distance of the Butterfly Villa Blue Flag beaches River that you can swim in (much warmer than the ocean) within walking distance
