Other local attractions located a few kilometers away includes the Cape Peninsula National Park, Boulders Penguin Colony, and the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Each room comes with wooden floor and is furnished with a mix of antique and leather furniture. All of the rooms are soundproofed and some comes with a terrace and/or a fireplace. The outdoor swimming pool, Wi-Fi and parking are all free of charge. The reception helps with a business centre, car rental, dry cleaning. Over 20 restaurants and pubs await a few minutes walk away. 5 Camp Street Guesthouse & Self-catering is ideally situated in the central, trendy, and historic suburb of Gardens, on the lower slopes of Table Mountain. Within easy walking distance of Kloof Street, with its vibey restaurant and café culture. The city center is a mere five minutes away as well as numerous other attractions such as the famous Mount Nelson Hotel, the V&A Waterfront and Green Point Stadium. It is an easy ten-minute drive to the popular beaches of Cape Town like Camps Bay and Clifton. Cape Town International Airport is a thirty-minute drive away and easily accessible from the N2. Public transport is close at hand, and airport transfers can be arranged. We offer upmarket, serviced, self-catering units. (1, 2 or 3 bedrooms en-suite) Each unit is tastefully furnished, offers a full kitchen, lounge with flat-screen TV, and private barbeque facilities. We are rated superb by Booking and Trip advisor. Certificate of Excellence Award 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 & 2018 - placing us in the Tripadvisor Hall of Fame!

Neighbourhood information

Gardens (or The Gardens) is an inner-city suburb of Cape Town located just to the south of the city center located in the higher elevations of the "City Bowl". It is located directly beneath Table Mountain and Lion's Head. It is an affluent neighbourhood populated mostly by young professionals and contains numerous chic restaurants, hotels, boutique shops and loft apartments. The suburb is also a hub for the Cape Town creative industry, hosting the home of etv at Longkloof Studios and contains many modeling agencies, production and publishing companies and associated industries.
