Getaway Self-Catering is a Self-Catering establishment located on the same property where the owner stays, and is situated in the northern suburbs of Cape Town. Perfect for travelers looking for comfortable lodging, close to a variety of facilities. Accommodation comprises 5 units, suited to accommodate up to 14 guests in total. All units come equipped with comfortable beds, a bathroom, fully equipped kitchen or kitchenette, a flat screen TV and Wi-Fi. On-site facilities include a braai area and secure parking. Nearby activities include horse riding, fishing, wine tasting, cycling, guided walks, mountain biking, swimming and tennis. Getaway Self-Catering is just a short drive away where you will find numerous steak houses, restaurants and shopping malls to enjoy.

The area has numerous public parks which are ideal for jogging or long walks. The parks is also equipped with swings and other play structures for kids to play with. Tygerberg National Forest is also 3 km from the property for the hiking enthusiast. The forest is managed by rangers who can assist you to take the best routes. There is also various sport clubs and gym facilities in the area to practice the sport of your choice. If you enjoy wining and dining then there is De Grendel wine farm 4 km from the property with a wine cellar, wine tasting and a restaurant with views of Table Mountain and Robben Island. In a radius of 2 km there is also numerous steak houses, restaurants and takeaways and shopping malls to choose from.
