Our home and rooms are Solar Powered, so no Loadshedding whilst you stay with us! Both rooms have super-fast wifi, DSTV (full bouquet), tea and coffee stations ( Nespresso pod machine), manual microwave, bar fridge, queen-size bed, and bathrooms with showers. Unfortunately we don’t offer meals or catering, but you’ll find three eateries( Coffee Craft, More and Lindy's Harvest Table) within walking distance - on the Island, just around the corner! Leisure Island is the gem of Knysna, with a beautiful, safe swimming beach at Bollard Bay. Our rooms are centrally located to Knysna Heads, Golf courses, Coney Glen Beach, Knysna Forest, Knysna Waterfront, Harbour and Restaurants. I am an entrepeneur and Industrial Psychologist by trade. I have run numerous of my own businesses, but currently run my own Consulting Company, consulting in the mining industry in South Africa and Africa. My wife Paula, is a retired teacher.

The Knysna Lagoon - one of the most important features of the National Park - laps the shore just a few hundred metres from our front door.  Without ever getting into your car, here you can enjoy lazing on the beach, you can pad around in the shallow water at low tide and swim at high tide, you can stroll around the neighbourhood and have a drink or a meal at one of the local coffee shops (there’s very little traffic on Leisure Isle); you can spend some quality time birdwatching in Steenbok Nature Reserve (also on the Island); or you can just chill with a book on a bench under a tree... And when the tide goes out, you can walk across the sand to the famous Knysna Heads - which, as the old folks used to say, truly is, ‘The world’s most spectacular portal to the sea.’  LOCATION: Knysna is situated about 70 km from the closest domestic airport (in the city of George), 500 km by road from Cape Town, and 280 km from Port Elizabeth.
