We are Bianca and Nicole, come from the north of Germany and are in love with this country. This part of South Africa impresses with the protected strip of Wetland's Parks (a UNESCO cultural heritage) and the proximity to Sodwana Bay beach. We are very close to nature and love animals!

Property information

The Izulu Eco Lodge leads from the main road over a 700-metre sand road surrounded by greenery. Away from any noise, you can enjoy nature here. We are located in Mbzwana, KwaZulu Natal, 15 km away from one of the most beautiful beaches in South Africa, Sodwana Bay Beach. Since we are centrally located, it is easy to explore the wetland route with its animal, nature and lake parks within 1-2 hours The entire lodge consists of 5 bungalows in African style, all have their private entrance with terrace. Bed delivery is not a problem, as the accommodation unit is 44 square metres. A bungalow includes a small terrace, a bathroom, a separate toilet, table, chairs, coffee station and a bedroom. 3 of the bungalows have an outdoor shower. Together you have a kitchen with all cooking and dining utensils, fridge and freezer and iron at your disposal. A dining area for 10 guests, as well as a large terrace and a lounge with sofas. A playground for the little ones, an outdoor pool and 2 barbeque areas can be used at no extra charge and around the clock.

Neighbourhood information

Mbazwana is located in the north-east of South Africa. We are an hour away from Mozambique. The Weltland Park starts at St. Lucia this over a distance of 220 km and we are in the middle of it. The village of Mbazwana is 6 km from the lodge and has some grocery stores, ATM, banks, markets, etc. etc. The famous Sodwana Bay Beach is 15 km away - and a must for every trip. Here they are at the centre of all activities. The best combination is probably - a daylight - a day of rest.... You can visit from here - St. Lucia with its large lake, the crocodiles, Kosi Bay, Hluhluwe with its animal parks, hikes, water sports... there are so many possibilities. This holiday will be a remember forever - apart from the natural life in the middle of the Zulu people in the Izulu Eco Lodge.
