KAALVOET, a 4-star rated property and a Travellers Choice Award from TripAdvisor consist of 3 luxury en-suite units (Fynbos, Seashells and Ocean) accommodating between 2 and 10 people.  KAALVOET HAS SOLAR POWER! It is only 150 meters from the ocean with a beautiful view of the Pearl Bay beach as well as the fynbos area adjacent to the house. Yzerfontein is well known for its stunning sunsets. We offer DSTV, free Wi-Fi and parking on the premises.  We also offer barbeque facilities. A booking for two people includes the FYNBOS unit and the self-catering living area and kitchen.  Add the SEASHELLS room for another 2 people and the OCEAN room for 2 more people (additional fees apply).

The town of Yzerfontein is situated on the unspoilt West Coast of South Africa, typically known for its unique FYNBOS vegetation boasting more than 1200 species of plants. In the Spring (Aug/Sept) of each year the West Coast is covered with flowers of all colours and sizes and both local and international visitors come to experience the magic of the Darling Wild Flower Show. Whale Watching: From October our famous Southern Right whales return to the area to calve and mate, staying until January before moving on to the chilly poles. Walking Trails & 4x4 Drives: The natural beauty of the region allows for a diverse range of activities which includes bird watching, walking trails, 4x4 drives and game viewing. Food & Wine: The wine cellars of the area are of an international standard and exquisite food and local delicacies are served in the traditional West Coast restaurants. Yzerfontein offers a few choices for dining out. Water Sports: For the water adventurer there is wind and kite surfing, surfing, fishing and diving. Wildlife & Trails: The natural beauty of the region allows for diverse activities including bird watching, whale watching, walking trails and more..
