Company information

The place is situated 5 km from the main Zeerust Town Centre, in a quiet location of Zeerust Suburb. Guests have the privilege of their own space in their rooms. We have a outdoor swimming pool and outdoor Braai areas. Our dining area is suited for all meals. WiFi is free for 24 hours, even during load shedding. We have a small solar back-up for lights in all rooms ad most outside areas during the night. Our loadshedding is coupled with watesheddin, but from 06h00 A.M we can connect our water pump via solar. Most of our guests are are in-transit to/from Botswana.

We are situated within the tranquil town of Zeerust, 120 km from Rustenburg, on the N4 national corridor to Botswana. A peaceful place within the Klein Marico Valley. You are guaranteed a quiet time to rest and refresh. The name draws inspiration from a Prehistoric City of Batswana Ba-Hurutshe (City of Tshwenyane or Kaditshwene) which existed during the Iron Age period of 1400. The Ancient City highlighted the sophisticated way of life of Bahurutshe People and their skillful ability to mine Iron Ore from the local mountains in order to make tools and other metal ornaments. The Ruins of this Majestic Ancestral Place are the living proof of the intelligent and innovative abilities of the people of This Ancient Civilization. You can visit the ruins 10 km from Zeerust towards the Gaborone boarder Gate, at Lekubu Village.

Neighbourhood information

Zeerust Town is sprawled along the beautiful landscape of Klein Marico Valley where it converges at Kgetleng Subdistrict to form the Valley of Groot Marico. Historically it is well known as a path used by the Afrikaners during the Anglo-Boer War and also the Basotho people who're fleeing Mzilikazi's ferocious militants. The abundant Statues and Monuments lay bare the rich history of this small town. It is the gateway to the Republic of Botswana.
