The one bedroom apartment was clean and lovely, with beautiful cooking amenities. We were a family of 2 adults and 3 children. Everyone had a wonderful one night stay there. Our host Martha was wonderful and extremely helpful. We shall be visiting...

Martha was very accommodative with our awkward travelling schedule. The night we spent there was very cold and they had enough winter blankets.

I love to interact with people and make life easier and comfortable for them after a long jouney. The premises is in a quiet neighbourhood where we care for each other. I love to hear the travelling stories of my guests. The flat is equiped with everything the traveller needs to stay overnight or a day or two. Parking is right infront of the flat, two metres from the front door. It is in a safe area with security and neighbourhood watch. We haven't experience any crime or robbery on our premises since we moved in in 1993.
Me and my husband likes to travel and explore new places. We love the outdours. Fishing, hunting and travelling. Every year we explore another area in South Africa. We farm with honey bees and harvest pure honey that we sell. We like to entertain and meet new people. I love needle work and also make candles. Our garden is a focus point and we love to sit and enjoy it. My husband is a handy man and he fix everything that can be fixed.
We are not far from Swaziland, 30km from Mahamba Border Post. We have big dams in the area where one can do water activities, like ski, boat rides and fishing. The Dutch Reformed Church is nearly 120 years old and the architect was Gerhard Moerdyk who also were the architect of other buildings, like the Voortrekker Monument in Pretoria and other churches all over South Africa. In the district the farmers farm with cattle, sheep, maize, potatoes, tomatoes and trees.
