Muckleneuk is certainly the jewel of Pretoria. - Easily accessible, yet private and secluded. There is a special quality of this environment that you rarely find elsewhere. Muckleneuk and Groenkloof can Muckleneuk can actually be seen as a small "village" "on its own. The neighborhood, Muckleneuk, the strong Scottish links. The Pretoria pioneer, George Walker, has more than a century ago, acquired a portion of the farm Randfontein, which he named after his family estate in Scotland; Muckleneuk, colloquial Scots for a wide angle or just a corner. Muckleneuk is bordered by a hill, a nature reserve in the south and a railway line to the north. The area has a panoramic view of the city, the Union Buildings, the three heads of Pretoria, the University of Pretoria and even further east.
