The Coronation Chalet is a quiet and private resting place between long trips through the vast and characterful Northern Cape. With solar powered amenities and running water, straight from the Orange River Canal, you have a large open deck facing the river and the vineyards. The chalet sleeps up to three people. A double bed in the sectioned bedroom, and a daybed in the open plan lounge. This chalet is well equipped for a braai on the deck, and self-service in the open plan kitchen.
Chanelle is a South African actress and Justin is from Leicester. They've joined forces to create a cozy home away from home for their guests. Our house is nearby, so Chanelle or Justin will assist with any queries.
Only minutes away you can dine at De Werf Restaurant. You can also enjoy the deck on the river at Oranje Rus, or enjoy delicious food at Bezalel. Under two hour drive is the Augrabies Waterfalls, a sight not to be missed! A small town called Keimoes has a liquor store, Spar and garage/petrol station. From the N14 you will drive on a gravel road to the chalet. The gravel road is well kept and accessible with any kind of vehicle. The hosts, Chanelle or Justin, will receive you at the gate to hand over the keys. You will leave keys in chalet when you check out.
