Company information

Janine and Marcel recently relocated from Cape Town to take over the small family business. They are dog lovers and their Pug, Hykie, and English Bulldog, Daisy, form part of the home-away-from-home relaxed atmosphere.

Property information

RiverVio Bed and Breakfast is a peaceful oasis in the heart of the river city. The house has four rooms and can sleep a total of eight guests. All rooms are air-conditioned and luxurious linen and towels are provided. The rooms offer beautiful views over the large landscaped garden. Rates include tea, coffee and rusks in the morning. Your hosts, Janine and Marcel, will strive to make your stay an unforgettable experience and will endeavor to cater to all your needs and requirements. We are within walking distance of all major business, various restaurants and tourist attractions. Upington itself offers a variety of activities including fishing, birdwatching, hiking, golf, horse riding and many more.

RiverVio is in the heart of the Upington CBD, next door to The Kalahari-Oranje Museum and Red-Ox Steakhouse. We are also within walking distance of the famous Sakkie se Arkie where you can enjoy a sunset cruise on the majestic Orange River.
