Company information

This heritage landmark was built in 1919. We renovated this old dame in 2023, but as for all heritage buildings, some challenges are continues. We trust you'll be kind and understanding. We tried making our little guesthouse as comfortable and homely as possible.

Property information

Schooner House is a lodge-style guesthouse in the central of Gansbaai, offering eleven rooms with standard and self-catering options. Providing affordable accommodation, the guesthouse is a short walk from the hustle and bustle of restaurants, pubs, shops, gyms and the colorful fishing harbour. Through our own travelling experiences, we tried to accommodate everyone by adding most of the basic requirements to make your stay as comfortable as possible. A bit of "nice-to-haves" when on holiday were added in each room, like microwaves, toasters, wine glasses etc.
