We love travelling, exploring and discovering new places and cultures. We love people and enjoy making new acquaintances. Riebeek Kasteel has been a dream come true.

Property information

Shades of Provence is a guesthouse located in the heart of Riebeek Kasteel; it is a mere 3 minute walk from the central village and most restaurants and shops. Shades of Provence has six en-suite bedrooms; two on the ground level and four on the top floor, which can be booked individually or all together. The house can also be split into two mirror-image units if required. Each unit consists of three bedrooms. The upstairs bedrooms feature both a bath and shower, while the downstairs bedrooms have showers. In each room we offer Smart TVs, coffee and tea facilities and there is free Wi-Fi throughout the house. Downstairs, there are two fully equipped kitchens and two lounges for the guests' use (only when the entire house or unit is booked by a single group). Shades also has a sparkling pool, which is a real treat on a hot summer day. When indoors, you can still keep cool (or warm), as all the bedrooms are equipped with air-conditioning units. There are two cosy fireplaces, one in each lounge and a barbeque area outside (only when the entire house or unit is booked by a single group). Rooms are serviced daily. We have secure parking on the premises.

Neighbourhood information

Riebeek Kasteel is our happy place. We find tranquility there every time we go. We are all food lovers in our family and the village is a food haven. The locals are extremely friendly and come from very diverse paths of life.
