We are Geert and Greet, and we are in love with South Africa. After much deliberation, we decided to take the plunge and move to beautiful Somerset West. We are happy to offer guests a home away from home. Where it is quiet to stay, where you will be pampered and where you can fully enjoy all the beauty that the Cape has to offer. From Somerset west you can visit beautiful wine estates, discover magnificent golf courses, discover Cape Town and so much more. We've got you covered

Property information

Somer House is a fully modernised B&B in the beautiful town of Somerset West and is well located in a quiet residential area next to the Somerset West Golf Club. It is only 25 minutes from Cape Town International Airport and only 20 min. of Stellenbosch. There are several excellent restaurants within walking distance. We offer you beautiful, newly decorated bedrooms with flat screen TVs and private bathrooms with showers and free toiletries. Each room is equipped with air conditioning, fridge, nespresso machine and free Wi-Fi Breakfast can be served in our tastefully decorated breakfast room with lounge and fireplace or in our large lush garden. An outdoor swimming pool in the large, beautifully landscaped garden offers guests a pleasant refreshment for the warmer days. You can enjoy a rich, healthy and varied breakfast and at the end you can enjoy a real homemade Belgian chocolate.

Neighbourhood information

Our B&B is located under the Helderberg. We are situated next to the Somerset Golf. We have a very large garden where you can relax and where you can enjoy the swimming pool, a fantastic book or a delicious breakfast. All the rooms are on the ground floor. The B&B is a 5-minute drive from several shopping centers and several restaurants. Cape Town is 25 min. and Stellenbosh about 20 minutes away. Beach is 5 to 10 min. from here.
