Southern Cross Beach House is the perfect place to replenish your soul with nature’s beauty. The famous beach and lagoon are a stone’s throw from the house, making for easy trips up and down to the beach with your flip-flops, beach towel tucked under your arm and kids in tow, dragging boogie boards. Ideal for those who want to catch the early morning surf. The house offers the wonderful simplicity of a real beach holiday. A stay here guarantees a sublimely relaxing way to recharge on holiday. If you want beachside living in peace and silence, this is the place for you. – it ticks all the boxes! This beautiful and warmly welcoming beach house will give you a wonderful break from your busy lifestyle at any time of the year. Ideal for those of you who love to kayak, surf, run, swim, paraglide, fish, take long walks, picnic, splash about in the waves and of course just want to chill! Relax on the deck watching the dolphins play or the sun sink slowly on the horizon. Thoughtfully designed interiors invite lounging about in easy barefoot style. The house is designed with entertaining in mind, and you’ll love it. Dreamy cushy beds and sofas, wonderful bath to soak in. Sit out under The house also has a Inverter/Battery Power Buckup for loadshedding.
Whilst the adjectives - peaceful and tranquil - have been bandied about when referring to holiday locations, when applied to Great Brak they take on new meaning. This little village, just a few kilometers from both Mossel Bay and George, is without doubt tranquil and beautiful. Great Brak has unspoilt beaches, a lagoon that is safe to swim in and generous sea views. The stillness experienced along the banks of the Great Brak river, which also offers a number of picnic spots, has led to this little town being much sought after by those wanting to escape it all. Great Brak is called such because of the brackish water of the Brak Rivers - the lagoon mouth is divided into two sandy channels with a small island between them. This charming, little island has become a place of refuge to many seeking solitude and has a number of holiday cottages and homes on it.
