The Bed in The Shed is perfect for backpackers, sightseers who need an overnight landing spot, and business travelers. It is equipped with all the basics, is clean and comfortable, and really great value for money. The Bed in The Shed can sleep 3-4 travelers in bachelor style accommodation, with two singles and one double sofa bed.
I live and work on our small piece of paradise, nestled in the Alkmaar valley. I am obsessed with sustainability and working with our Mamma to create a profitable, bio diverse and sustainable food farm.
Experience The Bed in The Shed, nestled within our lively snail farm in Alkmaar Valley, Mpumalanga, only 16 km from Nelspruit. Converted from our shed, it offers a unique stay amidst farm life. Wake up to roosters, our early-rising team, and occasional tractor hums. Explore stunning Lowveld panoramas near White River, Graskop, Sabie & Hazyview. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of The Barberton Makhonjwa Mountains, the iconic Kruger National Park and the beautiful Sudwala Caves. Our gorgeous farm is accessed via approx. 2km of dirt road, just off the N4 towards Nelspruit. While it is not necessary to drive an off road vehicle, higher clearance is an advantage. Vehicles with low clearance should take it slow, and approach water contours head on.
