A traditional Zulu style home called a Rondavel with modern and comfortable furnishings within a secure garden.
The Rondavel is a fully equipped and a serviced self-catering unit which is perfect for 2 adults or a family of 3. This newly built unit is on the same property as Foundation Lodge. It is centrally situated just off the main road, close to Sodwana Bay dive centers, shops, restaurants and bars.
Easily accessible by small vehicles (no 4x4 required).
We have 30 years experience in the hospitality industry both locally and abroad. Our aim is to ensure that our guests are comfortable and well informed so they can enjoy their holiday experience. Neville has been a scuba instructor since 1988 and is very well known in the industry for his passion and knowledge of the marine environment (he also has a fish named after him). He loves to share this knowledge with like minded guests. Wendy will always go the extra mile to ensure the guests are happy.
The Rondavel is located in the Sodwana area of of Qongwane and shares the property with Foundation Lodge, a six sleeper self catering unit.
Both the Rondavel and Foundation Lodge are owned by the charity, Coco's Foundation. The lodge is primarily used six times a year by volunteers that come out from the United Kingdom who assist with building homes for child-headed households in our area.
When not being used by the Volunteers and Trustees, the units are rented out to the many tourists visiting our area.
