Property information

This is a double-story, luxury, sea-facing apartment featuring four bedrooms, three full bathrooms each with a separate shower and bath. all bedrooms have views of the ocean. The dining room and lounge area downstairs offer breath taking views and is equipped with full satellite TV. The kitchen is fully-equipped with two fridges microwave, stove and scullery. All rooms lead onto a wooden deck area with a private swimming pool. The outdoor area is equipped with loungers and a two dining areas. Upstairs boasts a beautiful bar area with a unique marine fish tank, a lovely lounge and dining area all offering spectacular views. overlooking the beautiful Umhlanga Rocks Beach and Lighthouse. The penthouse offers unlimited Wi-Fi and full DSTV. It is also serviced daily.

Neighbourhood information

Umhlanga, the buzzing residential, commercial and resort suburb just outside of Durban, was once a seaside resort town called Umhlanga Rocks. During the early seventies it merged with La Lucia to become what it is today - Umhlanga - pronounced Umshlanga and meaning “place of reeds” in Zulu. Umhlanga remains a highly popular seaside resort, its wide, sandy beaches lined with exclusive hotels in Umhlanga and apartment blocks, the beaches filled with umbrellas and those who love the sunshine, whilst locals enthusiastically walk the promenade at sundown. Gateway Shopping Centre, one of the biggest shopping centres in the country, means that, whilst staying in Umhlanga, one has little reason to venture elsewhere. The promenade that stretches from Durban View Park all the way to Breakers and the start of the Umhlanga Lagoon Nature Reserve. The Umhlanga Village offers numerous excellent restaurants and bars which poses only the dilemma of which to choose for dinner.
