Nestled in the foothills of the Franschhoek Mountains, Val d'Or Estate is surrounded by lush gardens and vineyards. Featuring elegant guestrooms and a pool terrace, it is 5km from Franschhoek’s town centre. Val d'Or Estate was established in 2008, and is a family-owned estate set in the quiet surrounds of nature and mountains. We hope to ensure all our guests feel at home, and we aim to make your experience memorable, and worthy of a return visit.

Property information

Val d'Or Estate is set on 10 hectares of gardens and dams, with stunning views of the mountains. A beautiful nature estate, to relax and unwind, whether on holiday or business. We have 10 units, sleeping 32 guests in total, in self-catering cottages as well as luxurious suites. We have a large public pool and Boma area with Braai facilities, and some units have private pools. The property is located next to La Motte Estate, just off the main road, R45, Franschhoek, Western Cape, South Africa.

Neighbourhood information

Franschhoek is a beautiful town surrounded by mountains and vineyards. We have an abundance of top wineries and restaurants on offer, as well as hiking trails, mountain biking and golf courses to keep you busy.
