This hotel was great! Our rate included breakfast at the on site cafe as well. We were travelling on a budget, so chose to stay here as it was cheaper than staying closer to the ‘touristy’ areas, but having said that, you’ve got a metro station almost at your doorstep (2 minute walk). The amenities are fantastic - they have a desk in the lobby & you just grab whatever you need on the way through. I found their supplies to be better than the other 3 hotels (some more expensive) in Japan. I would stay again on a return trip to Tokyo.
Room was spacious, price was great (we booked early), onsen facility is ok. They have big lounge and they also have toys for rent for free so my toddler loves it. Breakfast was good with a lot of options, we love the side dishes and enjoy having different types of pickles and side dishes with rice. There is budget restaurant close by in case you want to opt for cheaper options.
It was the only hotel available with decent price at this time of the year. It's just a minute away from the station and there are many cheap restaurants and shops around, so pretty nice if you're travelling on a budget. Hotel is far from being new and rooms are very compact but overall it's not too bad for the price.
Location was great. Shin Okubo is 1 station away from Shinjuku. Yamanote line and Chuo line connect to all the important places in Tokyo. Price is very attractive for budget travelers. Delivery from Amazon japan arrives on time. There is always a staff member available. There is a Yoshinoya at Shin Okubo station that offers great cheap meals.
The location is pretty convenient, and the rooms and toilets looked clean. The price is relatively cheap, so if you are on a tight budget, this place will help you save some bucks.
I doubt you will find a cheaper place of this quality to spend your night in Tokyo. Beds were comfortable, all necessary facilieties were there but a bit dirty (Kind of like a Student dorm really) and the staff was friendly. Big Lockers and free towels are also a plus. Location is in aoto so about 40 Minutes from tokyo Main station. Overall good value for the price. Highly recommended for backpackers/travellers on a budget.
Budget hotel - fairly cheap
Moments from Keikyu Kamata station and not too far from Kamata station making it a very convenient location. Lots of little resturants and bars in the area and the accomodation is akin to Ibis budget near Sydney airport, clean with the facilities you need. The staff were very helpful and polite.
