I would say this hotel could be a must-do experience in Brighton & Hove. Seaside, Cozy room, Great breakfast. Felt like a >3 ⭐️s hotel. Staffs were really professional and kind.

Great place, peaceful surroundings with a nice twist on the evening, when people starts to fill the pub just downstairs. The room is nice and cozy, a little on the small side, but very clean and comfy. Maybe just the bathroom sink is a bit awkward due to the really small size, but really a minor thing. Staff's nice and helpful and it's easy to find a parking spot just along the way. We stayed for dinner at the pub and the food was amazing, we really didn't expect that! The bruschetta was to die for and fish and chips was crunchy and perfectly cooked, without dripping oil everywhere. Nice tap beers, and great music ṣelection. All in all a great atmosphere along the evening, we really enjoyed our stay, and would absolutely book again.

The staff were super friendly and very helpful in getting us into our room earlier than the normal check in time. Food was excellent - and very well priced. Overall it was a wonderful find of a hotel and we will indeed be back again in the future

It was very homely and the staff were very welcoming. We love the quietness of the area and the walks. The food in the pub/restaurant was excellent and the regulars were also very friendly.

This pretty inn is situated a mile from the centre of Steyning, a small town known for its award-winning cobbled walk.

Very pleasant room. Excellent bed and quality bedding - always makes a difference. We didn't eat there as we arrived late , but we had a drink and it is a truly lovely atmospheric old English inn. The breakfast in the morning was absolutely top class. I had scrambled egges on toast and there was practically too much, and my husband who is vegan enjoyed a cooked breakfast too. The coffee was so good I had to go back on the way home again (through Newhaven) to find out about their coffee and the machine they use! It was very well placed for coming off the Newhaven ferry late ( about 10.30pm - not sure if you could arrive after hours) and there is a huge car park ( rather dark!) I would definitely stay there again.

Friendly staff and atmosphere, small hotel in that there are only a few guests. This means that there's not a lot of movement in the corridors which contributes to the relaxed atmosphere. Very good in room facilities with a quality coffee machine that uses capsules (provided). Great unlimited breakfast included.

The room was spacious and the bathroom was clean. Breakfast was delicious and a good portion. The bar downstairs is a bonus and the restaurant has amazing food! Lots of things to do around the area.
