Dirk has been a wonderful host and truly went above and beyond to make our stay special. His place is clean, comfortable, and filled with a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere. You can really feel the care he puts into everything—he provided us with everything we needed and more. He also gave us great recommendations for places to explore, from the beautiful Margaret River region all the way down to Augusta. Thanks to him, we discovered some incredible spots we wouldn’t have found on our own. This has been one of the most relaxing and stress-free stays I’ve ever had. Highly recommend Dirk’s place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in nature, with a warm and generous host.

This is a very special accomodation, an opportunity to stay in a private villa overlooking a lake on a horse ranch. Its a few miles from town so very private and secluded. romantic setting with animals birds etc. the owners of the ranch were very gracious and even invited us to a neighborhood gathering at the check in office where we got to meet some of the local landowners. Stunning sunsets over the lake. relative close to the major wineries and winery restaurants. Theres no office staff at night but the villas are so well equipped and provisioned that we didnt see the need to venture out at nighttime. great hot tub on the outdoor deck overlooking the lake is very private, cant be seen from other units.

Beautifully appointed. When we go away we like to feel spoiled and Riveresque hit the brief. I could have spent the whole weekend on the amazing raised verandah watching and listening to a variety of birds come and go. I would actually say the photos don't do it justice it is very light and bright. We even had a kangaroo pop by. Will definitely be back.
