Hotels with Hot tubs in Belize City

Hotel is only a short walk out of the old town. A couple of cafes, restaurants are nearby as are shops and supermarkets. Our room had ocean views and was very quiet and comfortable to ensure a good nights sleep. We ate at Vino Tinto Restaurant on the top floor a couple of nights and were very impressed with the service and food.

Right near a grocery store. Beautiful view from higher rooms or pool area. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location in middle of town, close to most things by short taxi ride. Breakfast was decent, good coffee. Certain areas could use updating or cleaning like the gym or pool bar area.

I chose the penthouse rental. So if you reserved it, this review is for your convenience. I arrived late at night. It was very kind of the host to leave the keys in a place that was easy for me to find. I felt right at home and I slept soundly. I was able to use the washing machine in the morning and the wifi was very stable. I had privacy, peace and quiet. Not much in the morning because near the house is a meeting place for some of the locals, so you'll hear some loud banter. But it stops after about an hour or an hour and a half. A great breeze blew into the rental while I left the door open during the day, so I didn't need to use the air conditioner, nor the ceiling fan. Also, there is a second gated door, for which I received the Key. So I actually had the whole top floor with the roof to myself. At night, you will her some rustling sounds near the door. Please do not worry: There is a tall Palm tree whose leaves brush up against the terrace near your door as the wind blows. It's almost like having a quiet companion that occasionally reminds you of its presence. I found the tree to be a very charming part of the habitation. I definitely recommend this place for travelers, especially for solo female travelers and couples. It's very safe and the host is very kind. Our brief conversation was so casual, light, and warm, it felt like I've always know her, or like she's always been a part of my family. I wish I stayed longer. I'll definitely return.
