Magnificient views to the Valley and mountains, Sunset. Warm and clean pool. The staff were very accommodating, helping us with all kinds of things: providing vegetarian food, helping buy tickets to and dropping us off at the gate of the natural park, helping us plan the trip. The hosts went above and beyond: they prepared herbal foot baths after long hiking days, customized a vegetarian breakfast with local wild vegetable dumplings, and even arranged a private bilingual guide who revealed hidden viewpoints ahead of tourist crowds. The room seamlessly blended traditional Tusheng architecture with modern comforts (think heated floors and rainfall showers). What truly stood out was the proactive service—they contacted us pre-arrival to coordinate luggage storage and secured park tickets during peak season. If you seek authenticity over luxury, this family-run gem delivers soul-stirring moments you won’t find at chain hotels.

Zhangjiajie is truly one of the most beautiful places on this planet. We came to China from Australia just to see if the world from the movie Avatarreally exists—and the scenery is absolutely stunning, both astonishing and praiseworthy. The people here are also wonderful, making us feel very safe. Everyone in our travel group agrees that China is amazing, with everything so well-organized. At the airport, staff were arranged to assist us and even put on a simple welcome performance. The staff’s English was quite good, and they were able to offer travel advice and make arrangements for us. With their help, we purchased attraction tickets and guide services—it was simply perfect. The food here is also delicious and, most importantly, very affordable. I really have to thank God and thank Avatarfor this experience.

Huating Homestay is an absolute delight. The moment we stepped in, we were captivated by the beautiful, well-kept garden full of flowers. From the moment we arrived, Lucas took care of everything for us. He helped us plan the perfect itinerary, booked our tickets to Tianmen Mountain and Zhangjiajie Forest Park (no queues, no hassle!), and even arranged amazing seats for the cultural show. Thanks to him, we didn’t have to worry about a single thing—just pure enjoyment! Lucas was always patient, professional, and full of great recommendations. He made sure we had the best experience possible, whether it was suggesting the best photo spots or arranging transport. His attention to detail and warm hospitality really stood out! The hotel’s location is perfect, the rooms are cozy, and the views are just unreal. Waking up to misty mountains every morning felt like a dream!
