Stepping into a hot tub and relaxing in its warm water is bliss. If you opt for a hotel with a hot tub, you can do this any time you like – morning, afternoon, or evening. Some hotels offer guests private hot tubs, while others offer shared tubs that are usually part of a wellness spa.

Superb, tastefully modernised, mediaeval interiors. Everywhere is superheated - important for February and March in Extremadura. All rooms, including the lower priced ones, are huge with excellent bathrooms. WiFi is great, large tv's with lots of channels at no extra charge. 3 minutes walk to the outstanding restaurants and buildings on the Plaza Mayor. All restaurants serve really varied, modern, award winning, Spanish Gastronomía - the best, and prettiest, food in the world.

Wonderful old building very close to the centre. Lovely rugs and furniture throughout. Crisp quality bed linen. Large bathroom. Comfortable armchairs and sofa in the bedroom as well as plenty of lounges and upper cloister seating.
Efficient heating that could be turned down and which went off at night so comfortable for sleeping.
Very reasonable room rate.
