A small hotel in a small village where only a few people live. Very nice. Sometimes the restaurant is closed, but ask the manager if she can cook you a standard Greek meal. For me she did, and it was great.

Stunning place, beautifully decorated with very personal touches and with fantastic views. Host went out of his way to accommodate our group of four with a wonderful upgrade. The hot water was abundant with a bath and a great shower, the place cozy and warm with a fireplace which we unfortunately didn't have time to use. The setting in one of the Zagori villages was just amazing. We will be back.

Machalas was very welcoming! The grounds of Hotel Machalas are gorgeous with a wonderful, spacious outdoor area in which to relax. Private parking is great! Having Machalas' taverna across the street is a bonus. You can easily drive or walk to many stone bridges from here. An enjoyable two nights!

Very beautiful, quiet, spacious, comfortable and clean apartment with jacuzzi. The view from the yard was very nice. Comfortable parking. We enjoyed a lot during our stay.

The location is great, by the road and the minimarket. No steep climbing after a long day's hiking! Taverna opposite. Very quiet. Big rooms. The jacuzzi bath was amazing! A path by the hotel is a lovely leafy walk by the river to two of the most beautiful stone bridges.
