We had a truly fantastic stay. The rooms and the facilities are clean and well maintained, the views and the nature around leave you speechless. The food at the restaurant was very good, we enjoyed every meal we had. The staff is amazing, attentive, always available and tries to do everything to make you feel at home. It definitely was our best stay in India and hope to visit this amazing place again.

I had a wonderful stay here--such a beautiful house, with an extraordinary view--but even still, the best part was Benny's family itself. Everyone takes part in taking care of guests, here and there, including the guesthouse's namesake, Sceva--a very smart, kind, and curious child! I'll always remember sitting by the pool and reading poems aloud with her. Benny is also just terrific--he called up tuktuks for me whenever I needed, ordered dinners for us (also delivered by tuktuk!) if we decided to eat in, and also arranged my nine-hour drive north to Wayanad. (The driver did a really great job, too--I felt safe and comfortable the whole time.) And of course, the breakfasts were delicious--fresh-cooked and straight from the kitchen! Highly recommended.

We were upgraded to the Royal Suite when we stayed here for 2 nights this Christmas, and couldn’t believe our luck! The view is absolutely incredible and the room features a hot tub, sauna and steam room! It was like staying in our own personal spa! The staff were lovely and very attentive. Since it was Christmas we were treated to carols, live music and fireworks, and the food was incredible for every meal. Highly recommended!

I planned our trip to Kerala around the availability of this property and it exceeded our expectations. The property is large, spacious and beautifully furnished. The views across the valley are stunning and the birdsong in the early morning is wonderful. The housekeeping staff are great and the chef will prepare the most delicious food. This is a very special property for those who prefer to stay a little out of town. Absolutely fantastic stay.

This was one of the BEST run hotels I have EVER been in anywhere in the world. The staff and facilities are outstanding. If I needed something in my room I simply dialed the front desk and before I could turn around it was there. No request was too big or small. I saw wait staff holding babies in the dining room so that parents could eat and other gestures that went above and beyond. A special shout out to my guardian angel Vishnu who is the GM of food services. He should be president! He is so kind, hard working, considerate and thoughtful-amazing! Also a shout out to Fatima at the front desk who was so sweet when I checked in-I wasn't feeling well and she was really lovely.
