We reached the hotel quite late but easy checkin with friendly staff. Cosy room with a wide bathroom. We loved the hot bath available in the evening and we had the chance to spot our first Aurora 🤩. The breakfast was great, wide choice of food and very nice setting around the hotel. As well very well located from the North towards Reykjavík and to visit Reykholt areas.

This place is the best during my trip. Too bad I stayed here for only one night. Room is clean. Host is very polite and helpful. Breakfast was great!! I felt like they didn't try to save cost on food for you at all. Well, Iceland is expensive in general. So to be fair, compared to other places I have been, this place got the highest value for money. Looks like they are family running the place, and I can see they put attention to details.

The staff were super friendly! we arrived a bit a early and they allowed us to check in! The kitchen had everything you needed to cook or prepare a meal. Loved the coffee machine! The room were small and cosy! The washroom and shower were clean and nice hot water! The wifi worked great ! And if you are lucky you'll get the meet the awesome chocolate lab that belongs to the owners! We had a great stay!

Located next to Lake Blundsvatn, this guest house is 15 minutes’ drive off Iceland’s Ring Road.
