Beautiful, magical location in Calcata Vecchia. Quirky and unique accommodation - basically a cave house built into the side of the cliff. Lots of unique (and rather eccentric) little shops and restaurants in the old town; plus lots of interesting places to visit (by car) not far away Spa facilities down in the bottom cave of the house - jacuzzi, nice shower, relaxation room Additional spa treatments, massages etc available if required (at extra cost) Christian the owner was extremely friendly, helpful and responsive

The owner was very nice and helped us a lot. We came late, and she helped us even to find the place. The flat was very good and comfortable and the design is very beautiful and comfortable.

We fell in love with this place and the little family who welcomed us. It was very diffult to leave this little paradise. Everybody was so nice, kind and attentive. We received a lot of advices from Germana to visit places around. We booked only one dinner but food was so delicious that we stayed for dinner every night. We had an excellent stay at Castello di Pandora and can absolutely recommend it to anyone! The owner is super helpful and friendly, and goes above and beyond to help with anything. The facilities are clean and new. We were the only guests and had a very exclusive stay, e.g. had the beautiful spa for just the two of us. Breakfast was also very good, you can choose from different options. We rented a car and visited the nearby cities. The owner had excellent restaurant tips and there are great restaurants near. I have visited 40+ countries and even more resorts and hotels. Yet, this was one of the best hotels I have ever visited. If you are looking for luxury, with private service and great facilities, this is the place for you! Thank you again :)

Paulo the host is lovely and he owns the local Fornai Bakery. He gave us excellent advice on where to go like the Lake Vico and good restaurants. I highly recommend this venue.

La Locanda della Chiocciola is extremely well cared for and we found it perfect for a restful break away from it all. The pool was lovely and the garden delightful to sit and read and relax in. The meals were excellent, too; the home-cooking with local ingredients was delicious. Thank you very much for an enjoyable stay.
