Staff was very nice & helpfull. They prepared a surprise for my husbands birthday! We loved the comfort, views, birds singing in the morning and delicious breakfast. This hotel is incredible, a throwback to another more stylish era when people had more chance to sit down and talk over a long breakfast, with local honey and home baked bread. I've given this hard to get to hotel top marks for location as coming from Radda, as we did, the drive is very steady on a bumpy dirt road, but when you get there it is a serene paradise that would not be the same without the remoteness. Dinner in this hotel is a must, full of flavour and served with Chianti by waiters who are attentive and appreciative.

    Fantastic location - so beautiful. The staff were so friendly and personable as the hotel is small and they got to know us. Justine and Alessio were very helpful in recommending local spots to visit that were less touristy. We also loved the spa bath in the room too - so relaxing. We also got a discount from the hotel to the local spa 5km away in Radda in Chianti - that was a fabulous experience and we highly recommend it.

    We absolutely loved the relaxing setting and atmosphere of this hotel. It is extremely picturesque and a lot of the older features of the property make for a stunning backdrop to evening meals and poolside sunbathing! The staff were very friendly and made us feel extremely welcome, and the food at the restaurant in the evening was absolutely outstanding! Breakfast was also to a high standard and the coffee is wonderful.
