Nice house! I love love love the tatami rooms. They were fantastic to sit in and sleep in. I know it’s preference, but I’m a huge fan. The hot spring bath was great! The privacy and allowance for us to use it at our pace was very appreciated. It was slow for us to get used to the water temperature, but we liked it a lot. We didn’t get to use the kitchen much, but all the amenities were there.

My family of 6 stayed here for 3 nights, and it was our favorite place of the five places we had stayed so far. The house was more spacious than we expected, with plenty of room to sleep and relax. The kitchen was very useful. Our boy loved the kids room. The restroom has two toilet rooms with modern appliance. Our girls loved the bathroom sink area with large mirrors and chairs. We did laundry. The private onsen was especially great, with shower area, indoor tub and outdoor tub, all easy to use. The outdoor area was terrific and overlooks the ocean. The design is such that you only hear the ocean on that side of the house. The sauna was great for one or two people. The location is good for that side of the island, close to a few restaurants, the marine park, and geothermal vents and caldera lake. We would definitely return.

We enjoyed the authentic onsen on site. There was a washer and dryer for our use. It was in a quiet little neighborhood which was easy to find. We loved the country feeling and yet was close to places of interest. We enjoy sharing our experience there with family and friends and would definitely go there again.

Room was clean and staff prepared our futon before bed. We ordered the in-room kaiseki and the food was plentiful and tasty, our server answered our questions and was patient with us not exactly knowing what was going on lol.

Excellent dinner and breakfast with an absolutely stunning view over the lake. Our flight was delayed and the staff waited and additional 4 hours to serve us our dinner!

Awesome hotel, really enjoyed it. Its aimed toward families, I wouldnt come here unless you have kids. Helpful staff and the room was big.

Staff was amazingly friendly. Food was delicious and able to accommodate for dietary restrictions. The dinners are beautiful and gives a great view of the sunset across the lake.
