South AfricaMari is a great host and goes out of her way to treat you well and give you a good experience. The room itself was very spacious and comfortable. I got to go to a couple of Mari's farms early in the morning which was beautiful, and also a local onsen. Her farms are organic, and you should be able to try the produce if you have dinner or breakfast there! When I told Mari about my plans for the next day, she even organised with some of her volunteers who were interested in going to the same place to go with me and drive me there, which was really kind and helpful. The surrounding area is peaceful and I really enjoyed it as a quick getaway from the city.

It was an enjoyable experience of the Japanese countryside. I rented an e-bike from the guesthouse and cycled to a cafe, restaurant, forest and river. The area is filled with many rice fields.
